How to run a manual backup from Cpanel the command line

Procedure

1. Access the server’s command line as the ‘root’ user via SSH or “Terminal” in WHM.
2. Run the following command to initiate the backup process.

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup

   Please note that it may be necessary to append the command with the “–force” option if backups are not scheduled to run on the day you are using the command.
